According to New York Magazine the Finnish apparel and textile design house Marimekko is opening a 4 000-square-foot flagship this Saturday in New York! Designed by the same Japanese architectural firm IMA who oversaw the brand’s Helsinki store, the shop will sell the incredibly evergreen and bright merchandise of the Finnish interior giant!

In addition to the familiar prints, the store will stock the full apparel collection, from graphic dresses to tights and neon winter coats. Hope you New Yorkers appreciate the Finnish icon that you're getting as a neighbor! As the New York Post's Alexa says: "Fin-ally!" In the pictures you see Marimekko umbrellas and table cloths at the Madison Square Park and Flatiron District in New York.
