When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven, choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it's not, mmmmmmmm, boy.
Yesterday we finally had the chance to purchase the last pieces of furniture for our new home! We bought some nightstands for our bedroom, lamps and a cupboard for our kitchen! I'll show you how they look in future posts, as soon as we get them on their places.
I wanted to share with you the whoopie pies (alternatively called a black moon, gob, black-and-white, bob, or "BFO" for Big Fat Oreo) that I made on Sunday! I received a magazine focused on the planning stage of this season's Christmas parties that said that whoopie pies are this Christmas' treat - a new trend pastry/confectionery that has passed the macaron in its coolness, so I had to try it! It is made of two round mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake with cinnamon, with a sweet, creamy filling or frosting sandwiched between them. My version had coconut flakes on the coffee cream filling! Yummy!

Haha I'm happy you like them! They were super easy to make, so give them a try! They don't have a Finnish or Swedish name either, they're just whoopie pies like whoopie doo!
