3 knitwear labels you need to know this fall/winter

Helsinki, 6 degrees

Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn't hurt the untroubled spirit either.

As the temperature drops here in Helsinki, my knit fever kicks in! It's an annual dilemma, but this year I've already bought two pairs of woolen socks from my colleagues so one can say that the knit craze has started. Next to woolen socks, there is only one thing I love equally much - knitwear (sweaters & knitted dresses) that is. They go perfect together with candles, gingerbread, string lights, mulled wine (or glögi as we call it in Finland) - well, with about anything cosy! In this blog post, I want to present three knitwear companies that I have stumbled upon this late fall. My favorite knitwear & sweater colors are different shades of white and gray.

Kun lämpötila laskee Helsingissä, tämä tyttönen saa jokavuotisen neuloskuumeen! Olen jo ehtinyt ostamaan työkavereiltani kahdet villasukat, joten neulehulluus on jo saanut alkunsa. Villasukkien lisäksi, rakastan neuleita ja neulemekkoja! Ne sopivat täydellisesti kynttilöiden, piparkakkujen, valosarjojen, glögin - oikeastaan kaiken kodikkaan seuraan! Tässä blogikirjoituksessa haluan esitellä kolme neulosyritystä, johon olen tänä vuonna tutustunut. Suosikkineulevärini ovat valkoinen ja harmaa.

For Love & Lemons
(USA) - Fleetwood Canyon Fall 2015

Designers, owners, and BFF's Gillian Rose Kern and Laura Hall are the creative minds behind For Love & Lemons. The first ready-to-wear collection was designed in their hometown of Jackson, WY and has since evolved into a true lifestyle brand with the additions of their lingerie and knitwear collections. Now based in Los Angeles, everything is designed right here in the Arts District with the customers in mind.

Gillian Rose Kern ja Laura Hall löytyvät tämän amerikkalaisen yrityksen takaa. For Love & Lemons on lifestyle -vaatebrändi, jolla on myös alusvaatesarja ja upeita neuleita. Tänä päivänä yritys sijaitsee Los Angelesissa.
