Snowflakes swirl down gently in the deep blue haze beyond the window. The outside world is a dream.
As here in Helsinki the Christmas street lights will be lit tomorrow, the Ice Park opened today and the first snow arrived yesterday, I think it's about time to make a blog post about holiday party wear! Last weekend I attended my first pre-Christmas party with my besties. We had champagne at a friend's place, went for dinner to the modern Spanish tapas bar Mercat and dancing to Ahjo Bar & Club. More about that on Instagram. For that party, I wore the multi-color jewel embellished design dress from Asos that you saw for instance in this earlier blog post. However, this evening got me thinking about what to wear for the holiday season and I came up with three outfits that represent what I'm currently excited about clothing-wise: sequins, jumpsuits, metallics, hats, and fluffy jackets sums it up!

What inspires you this holiday season? Do you usually attend many Christmas parties?
Mikä saa sinut innostumaan tänä juhlakautena? Miten aiot pukeutua tämän vuoden pikkujouluihin?
All of those outfits are stunning (especially your dress!) Sequins never fail for cold holiday parties, and it so awesome you found all those pieces from h&m! Love the looks :)

to be honest with you I haven't even thought about the holidays fashion-wise and I have no idea what I will be wearing. but December 11 is the day when my workplace has its Christmas event and I sure must wear something then, haha. after our event I will see the dentist so it must be something not too fancy :P anyway, a sequin dress looks like a nice variant for sure! but I think maybe I'll pick a pair of black pants and then the upper part will be something more fancy :)
ReplyDeleteMaiken,
Part of me
Really? What did you wear to the event?
