My body is the site of a miracle now.

As I'm reaching pregnancy week 19 this week, the second trimester that is, I thought that it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite pregnancy outfits, from Asos and Zara. What I learned from when I was pregnant with my daughter, is that there is a lot of maternity wear out there, but there is only a handful of pregnancy clothes that you really need. I will introduce the maternity essentials that I have got during both pregnancies later on. The best is, however, versatile and flowy dresses that fit both normally and during your pregnancy, long-term items that are. Naturally, you won't fit into all your clothes while pregnant, but I've been happy to notice how practical my dress-based wardrobe is in this wonderful period of life!

Tällä viikolla minulla alkaa raskausviikko 19, joten ajattelin jakaa blogissa joitakin suosikkiraskausasukokonaisuuksiani.

At the same time, I'm also introducing another of my color palette - autumn / earthy - colors: teal blue. During this exceptional time, I know many are rearranging their wardrobes so I thought that I would share some insight on how I've done exactly that - earlier this year! As I mentioned in my earlier blog post, the Little Book of Color opened my eyes this spring and made me truly (or finally) realize which colors suit my personality. I thought that it would be fun to start a blog post series showcasing the colors of my primary color palette. Here, second up: what Karen Haller calls teal blue! The first color that I introduced was nude pink.

Kuten mainitsin aikaisemmassa blogikirjoituksessani, Kirjamessuilta löytynyt the Little Book of Color -kirjan ansiosta katsoin vaatehuonettani uusin silmin ja tajusin vihdoin mitkä värit sopivat yhteen persoonallisuuteni kanssa. Näin ollen ajattelin aloittaa blogisarjan, jossa esittelen ensisijaisen tyylipalettini värit. Tässä vuorossa siis toinen: Karen Haller kutsuu väriä teal blueksi, eli sinivihreäksi. Ensimmäinen blogin puolella esitelty väri oli marjainen roosa.

Teal blue is one of the eight colors that Haller recommends for people that have a personality that matches the 3rd color palette called Autumn / Earthy. The colors here are warm yellow-based and have an intensity to them. The colors have a rich, fiery depth. These are the colors of harvest, autumnal leaves, rich rust reds, golden yellows, saffron, and burnt oranges. These colors also include olive, forest green, nude pink, aubergine, burnt orange, sunflower/mustard yellow, rust red, ivory white, chocolate brown, and stone.

Tämä sävy, teal blue, on yksi kahdeksasta väristä, jota Haller suosittelee ihmisille, jolla on syksyinen persoonallisuus. Syksyinen / maanläheinen paletti on täynnä intensiivisiä keltapohjaisia värejä. Värit ovat otettu suoraan syksyn värimaailmasta: paletissa näkyy sadonkorjuu, ruskan värit, täyteläiset ruosteiset värit, kultaiset keltaiset, sahrami and poltetut oranssit. Väripalettiin kuuluvat myös oliivi, metsänvihreä, marjainen roosa, munakoiso, poltettu oranssi, auringonkukkakeltainen / sinapinkeltainen, ruoste, norsunluu, suklaa ja kivenharmaa.

Lately, I've been mad about wearing #allwhite outfits - a clear sign of #spring! In #Finnish, there is even a saying that you're not supposed to wear white before May Day. And many believe that you can only wear white 'til September. Apparently, this has its origin in the US and UK, where white has been considered a resort, cruise, travel and/or holiday collection color since the 19th century 🕊️. . Do you wear more #white in spring/summer? #me #springstyle #nordicstyle #scandichic #minstil #päivänasu #nouwinfluencer #instablogit #instablogitfinland @instablogitfinland #mystylediary #mystyletoday #mystyles #mystylemyway #mystylelife #mystyleessential #mystyleblog #helsinki #finland #lokakuiset2020 #missguided #lillanhelsinki #pregnant #babyontheway #expecting #babypicsapp

What kind of maternity wear do you like? What have been your favorite outfits this spring during this exceptional period of time?

Minkälaisista äitiysvaatteista sinä pidät? Mitkä ovat olleet suosikkiasusi tänä poikkeuskeväänä?

What's your opinion?

  1. Definitely smart to focus on what you need! Both pieces are absolutely gorgeous. Especially that lovely dress. The colours and the print look beautiful on you.
