Our 10th anniversary

Helsinki, 7 degrees

Some people care too much. I think it’s called Love.

The date 13th of each month has a unique meaning for us since ten years ago we went on our first date and today we celebrate a decade together! Usually, the number 13 is thought of as unlucky in this part of the world, but I like to think that we challenge the odds by celebrating the day instead of being afraid of it. And after all, in e.g. Italy the number 13 is thought to be lucky whereas 17 is the unlucky number. How ironic isn't that? The day started with a wonderful walk outside, and later we'll enjoy some delicious food at home. I have been smiling all day since I had a special day in mind. You can see my earlier anniversary blog posts here. This wonderful anniversary drawing of one of our wedding photos (one of my anniversary gifts to my hubby) was made by the talented Linnea Mellais. You can see more photos from our memory lane here underneath by clicking on the arrow on the right side.

Jokaisen kuun 13. päivä on meille erityinen koska tänään tasan 10 vuotta sitten tavattiin mieheni kanssa ensitreffien muodossa! Tänään olemme siis viihtyneet yhdessä vuosikymmenen ajan! Tavallisestihan 13 on epäonnen luku, joten olemme onneamme koetelleet koska olemme aina kyseistä lukua juhlineet. 2. Since almost everyone was inside, it wasn't very special. It also rained most of the day.
