My daughter recently turned 3 years old and when asked, she requested a pink theme for her birthday party! For the last four-five months, she's been obsessed with this color so it came as no surprise even though she's always been introduced to a wide range of colors. I went through her toys and found that she had one pink soft toy that could function as an inspiration for the whole party - her Jellycat fancy flamingo! Tyttäreni täytti hiljattain 3 vuotta ja kun häneltä kysyin ennen juhlia, niin teematoiveena tuli ainoastaan väri - pinkki! Hän on ollut hulluna kyseiseen väriin jo 4-5 kuukautta, joten yllätyksenä se ei tullut vaikka olemmekin yrittäneet tutustuttaa hänelle syntymästä asti kaikkia sateenkaaren värejä. Balloons / Ilmapallot

Right from the beginning, I had the idea of having different kinds of balloons at the birthday party. This because my daughter loves balloons! I was happy to find both the foil number 3 balloon and a flamingo balloon at Juhlamaailma. The beautiful pink balloon arch was found at Synttärikuningas.

Heti suunnittelun alusta tiesin, että juhliin tulisi ilmapalloja - koska tyttäreni rakastaa niitä! Olin iloinen kun löysin numerofoliopallon lisäksi myös flamingopallon Juhlamaailmasta! Kauniin ilmapallokyönnöskaaren löysin Synttärikuninkaalta.

Other decorations / Muut koristeet

The other pink & flamingo decorations included among others a flamingo garland, pink pom poms and fans, pink streamers, flamingo cups, mugs, plates and napkins, a neon flamingo light sign and cocktail sticks, and flamingo LED lights.

Muut koristeet koostuivat muun muassa flamingo -viirinauhasta, vaaleanpunaisista pom pomeista ja viuhkoista, serpentiineistä, mukeista, kupeista, lautasista, serveteistä, valokyltistä ja cocktail -tikuista, sekä LED -valonauhasta.

Food / Tarjoilut

The crown jewel of the birthday party table was the raspberry-lemon-white chocolate flamingo cake! It was both stunning and delicious! It was made by Kakkukonditoria Tårta på Tårta, who also made our wedding cake. There were also ruby chocolate and pink sugar donuts from Arnolds, strawberry popcorn, cookies, cherries, strawberries, candy, raspberry white chocolate, marshmallows, and raspberry waffle cookies. Savory treats included ham and shrimp rolls.

Juhlapöydän kruunun jalokivi oli vadelma-sitruuna-valkosuklaa flamingokakku! Se oli sekä upea että maukas! Kakun teki Kakkukonditoria Tårta på tårta, joka myös teki hääkakumme. Meillä oli myös tarjolla rubiinisuklaa ja normaaleja Arnolds -donitseja, mansikkapopcorneja, keksejä, kirsikoita, mansikoita, vadelmavalkosuklaata, vaahtokarkkeja ja vadelmavohvelikeksejä. Dress / Mekko

When I thought about my daughter's dress, I thought that this was her day to be a princess! I was delighted to find the pink RuffleButts dress at Hienohelman Hepeneet - it was perfect! My daughter said that she felt like a princess in it.

Tiesin heti suunnittelun alussa, että halusin tyttärelleni mahdollisimman muhkean syntymäpäivämekon. Tämä oli hänen päivänsä olla prinsessa! Olin iloinen kun löysin Rufflebutts -mekon Hienohelman Hepeneiltä. Tyttäreni sanoi useaan kertaan päivän aikana, että hän koki olevansa prinsessa mekko päällään.

Games / Leikit

Even though my daughter still didn't need any games at her party (she was busy enough showing her guests around the apartment and eating together), I had planned some in case she would like to play with her cousins. I had made flamingo coloring templates (that my daughter loved!), a pin the tail on the flamingo game (also a favorite of my daughter) and last but not least, a flamingo ring toss game. My daughter loved the rings that I found and while she didn't really get tossing them on the flamingos, she likes playing with the rings! The garden flamingos were found at Partyking, and the rings were a part of a unicorn ring toss game!

Vaikka tyttäreni ei vieläkään kaivannut juhliinsa leikkejä (hänelle riitti, että sai näyttää serkuilleen asuntoamme ja syödä yhdessä), olin suunnitellut joitakin leikkejä juhlia varten. Olin tulostanut joitakin flamingo -värityspohjia (joita tyttäreni rakasti!), ja olin tehnyt "flamingon häntä" -pelin (tästä tyttäreni myös piti juhlien jälkeen, hän leikki pelin kanssa useita päiviä). Olin myös tehnyt flamingo rengas heittopelin. Tyttäreni rakasti renkaita, mutta hänen mielestä flamingot olivat liian vaikeita kohteita niille, joten hän heitteli iloisesti renkaita ihan muuten vain! Puutarhaflamingot löysin Partykingiltä, ja renkaat olivat osa yksisarvisheittopeliä!
