Diptyque scented candle

Helsinki, 17 degrees

Perfumes are the feelings of flowers.

For somebody like me that feels the best when she sees happiness and amazement in the eyes of someone else, last week was truly unforgettable. I had the pleasure of hosting 11 international fashion bloggers in Helsinki, and I'll write more about our experiences in upcoming blog posts but for now I just want to mention how the people I met touched me. Touched my soul. It's rare to find genuine people and great personalities with who one can laugh and have a good time. I think they said it the best on Sunday when they said that they didn't want to leave Helsinki. We had such a great time together that everyone felt peaceful! Another peaceful place is our home, and now for fall we have a new addition to our living room, a lovely scented candle by Diptyque that one of my dear colleagues brought to me from Paris. Now for fall the scent of freesia will fill our home!

What do you think about scented candles? What kind of home scents do you like?

Mitä mieltä olette tuoksukynttilöistä? Mistä kotituoksuista pidätte?

What's your opinion?

  1. My mom likes them a lot, but I never can smell the candles that much. I don't know if it's my sense of smell or not.

  2. A gathering of international fashion bloggers in Helsinki sounds absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to hear more about it - I'd love to visit Helsinki one day myself :) And as for Diptyque, I have one of their candles next to me on my desk as I type this. Definitely the best souvenir from Paris that a girl could want.
