Head full of air

Helsinki, 12 degrees

I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair.

You know the feeling when you stumble upon art that touches you and feels like it's meant for you to see? Well, that happened to me about a week ago when I saw Matt Wisniewski's pins on Pinterest. Autumn is a time for reflection as we return to spending time at home after having spent the summer mostly outdoors. At least my head is filled with thoughts, plans and dreams about what the year to come might have in store for me. I usually think about the year in that way, that it starts in fall and continues until summer. I think Matt Wisniewski's art showcases this flood of ideas. I belong to the people who actually enjoy mild windy storms, and like watching the trees outside our house as their leaves swirl in the air. I think it's cozy to bundle-up in the sofa with a cup of tea in my hands. I'm sure my thoughts will clear up in a week or two, but right now I'm enjoying autumn reflections.

How do you deal with overthinking? How do you organize your thoughts, plans, dreams?

Miten itse käsitelette yliajattelua? Miten järjestelette ajatuksia, suunnitelmia, unelmia?

What's your opinion?

  1. I definitely understand that feeling. Looking at these pictures, it is clear why they inspired you so much. I love how they blend beauty and innocence with a deeply emotional space. Gorgeous.

  2. I hate overthinking, or just randomly losing a thought and forgetting and then moving on to something else

  3. overthinking somehow comes and goes. at least with me it's like that. there are days when my head wants to explode with ideas and then everything's just gone. it's definitely an interesting phenomenon. and all that coming and going happens automatically, I don't have to do anything special to make it work. oh and those pieces of art indeed are interesting. numbers 3 and 5 are probably my favourites.
