Business & Leisure Trip: London, UK

Helsinki, -7 degrees

Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.

As I promised, here follows the second blog post from my combined business and leisure trip to London last week. My boyfriend joined me in London for the weekend. This time I'll take you with me on my shopping spree to Camden Town and Oxford Street - definitely two of my favorite areas in London! Have you been?

In Camden Town, which I visited for the first time, I found some great souvenirs to bring back home to my family and delicious coffee and Chinese food and! Camden Town was filled with interesting jewelry stalls and food vendors. Street food can be so good! I'm really looking forward to our first street food festival in Helsinki - StrEat Helsinki! It will be in March, have a look here if you are interested!

We took the same double-decker bus as I mentioned in my previous blog post, number 88, to reach Oxford Street, which for sure is one of the best shopping streets in London! My favorites stores on that street are Primark, Forever 21 and Topshop. They had amazing clutches - like eye-candy!

Otimme saman kaksikerroksisen bussin (nro 88), josta mainitsin jo edellisessä blogikirjoituksessani, Camden Townista Oxford Streetille. Se on ehdottomasti yksi Lontoon parhaimmista ostoskaduista! Suosikkikauppani ovat Primark, Forever 21 ja Topshop. Näissä kaupoissa ihastuin esimerkiksi värikkäisiin clutch-laukkuihin!

In my next blog post you'll see some of my purchases, so don't miss it! What are you looking to purchase this late winter / early spring (it felt like that in London)?

Seuraavassa blogikirjoituksessa esittelen joitakin ostoksia! Mitä etsitte nyt lopputalven aikaan kaupoista? Suunnitteletteko jo keväisiä ostoksia?

What's your opinion?

  1. I love London, but I haven't spent enough time there to have explored places like Camden Market - the quote that you used to title this post is so very true, there is so much of life in London that you really need a whole lifetime to spend discovering it all!

  5. I love those areas too, but as I live close to it, I can opt for Bicester Village to, so the next time I recommend you a stroll to Bicester - believe me, you won't be disappointed! I also recommend Covent Garden. So nice that you had a great time, I loved your coat! Looking forward to seeing pictures of your purchase! And the StEat festival seems to be great! denisesplanet com

  6. such a cool post! I just really love posts about shopping, hehe. and obviously I'm already curious about your purchases :) I have no specific wishes right now I think... maybe a cool pair of sweatpants to wear at home but those I'm going to look for outside Estonia after a couple of months. oh and a new wallet would be lovely too.
now, your question about meeting people through blog. I sadly have to say I haven't. it's probably because all my favourite bloggers live far.. very very far from my hometown.. well, from my country actually. what about you? have you met some foreign bloggers in real life? I mean the ones you got to know through your blog.

    1. Thank you Maiken for your kind words!
I've met great Finnish bloggers, but unfortunately none foreign yet. Of course through my work I've met a lot of bloggers, but those I haven't personally followed before meeting. It would be nice to attend a blogger meet up. I know many travel bloggers meet at travel fair, but I don't know where international lifestyle bloggers could meet.
