Floral pattern sweaters

Helsinki, 7 degrees

And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.

This week Helsinki's beautiful autumnal weather with vivid fall colors in the trees was caught up by rainy storms and strong winds, which has lead to that most of our pretty trees now have lost their leaves. So we are definitely heading for winter, and therefore this blog post is concentrated on warm sweaters and other cosy autumnal things. This fall has been characterized by floral knits and dresses that I mentioned in an earlier blog post that you'll find here if you missed it. I've finally found my floral sweater for this season!

I found this lovely navy blue floral knit at Monki! Another place that has charmed me this fall with its floral sweaters is Mango. I've combined my floral angora knit with a navy pencil skirt that has a light blue belt. Both of them are from H&M.

Some of you readers have been asking me to tell more about my work, and I thought I would take this chance to mention again that I do co-write another blog for my work. In that blog I write about food related places (restaurants, cafés, shops) and news in Helsinki. Have a look here if you're interested!

I've also updated our living room photo / gallery wall this fall. Usually I update it by switching photos at least once during the four seasons we enjoy here in Helsinki. Now for fall the photo wall has many brownish, earth-colored photos. You can see how it looked before in my earlier blog post here.

Lately I won tickets on Facebook to the Beauty, Fashion, Health, Jewel & Watch Fair called I love me that was held here in Helsinki. The ones of you who follow me on Instagram already saw my picture of the tickets I won.

Since I've recently started to drink more tea than before, of course I instantly fell for the Finnish Forsman Tea I found at the fair. I especially like the citrus and ginger tea blends I found, but my new found favorite was the anti-stress herbal tea. I've enjoyed it every day since the fair from my favorite mug, Finnish ceramic company Iittala's Taika mug. The name is the same as of the dog of my mother's, meaning magic in Finnish.

Koska olen hiljattain siirtynyt täyspäiväiseksi teejuojaksi, hehe, ihastuin messuilla esille oleviin Forsmanin teesekoituksiin.

What are your favorite autumnal activities? What hot beverages do you like to enjoy during autumn?

Mitä itse puuhastelet yleensä syksyisin? Aloitatko aina uuden harrastuksen? Mikä on suosikkijuomasi näin syksyllä?

What's your opinion?

by the way, I like your photo wall very much and it's such a good idea to change the material there when the seasons change. oh and your floral sweater is pretty too!

  10. I love the idea of autumn flowers. The floral print in darker shades looks really rich, feminine and sexy. Your sweater/look is the great proof to it;)

    Vastasin viime kommenttiisi blogiini!

    1. Kiitos Satu! Ikeasta saa helposti kasattua samantyyppisen. Sitten vain valitsemaan kuvia kehyksiin ja voilà!
