After some warm weeks, fall weather is finally catching up with Helsinki. Conveniently enough, this same week my school has officially started. It's been so inspiring to, as my school says it, "invest in myself". I couldn't agree more! Studies are always an investment in oneself if one asks me. It's been wonderful to surround myself with new people within the tourism field that have fresh points of view. My class that I'll meet three times a month is very international: we have students from some 10 countries! With an inspiring setting like this, it's easier to get excited about other things as well. Lately I've been widely inspired by tassel jewelry! Have you seen these beauties around?

The valley lay like a ribbon thrown into the midst of the encompassing hills. The grass which grew there was soft and fine and abundant the trees which sprang from its dark, rich mould were tall and great of girth. A bright stream flashed through it, and the sunshine fell warm upon the grass and changed the tassels of the maize into golden plumes.
It's funny how something as small as a tassel can be so lovely! I've especially been obsessing over stone tassel pendant necklaces, but also bracelets!

As a reward for myself for all the hard work I've done this summer, I got myself a tassel bracelet with a bird charm from Tres Jewellery! Do you know Tres Jewellery? It's an exclusive online boutique specializing in unique, hand-made jewellery. Despite the fact that the jewelry it offers is unique, the prices are really affordable! The packaging was so impressive when I received it today! This product came with an unique glass tube packaging.
As you've seen in my earlier blog posts, I always wear two silver bracelets. They feel like a natural part of me. I don't even take them off when I go to the sauna. I think the new tassel bracelet is a great addition to my everyday bracelets. I live the mustard yellow color of the tassel, and of course the bird reminds me of my father since I think birds are his symbol.
The bracelet is of the brand Made by Lennebelle. Made by Lennebelle is a jewellery brand by Lenneke Kooijman, who is based in the Netherlands.

When Tres Jewellery asked Lenneke to describe her brand she answered:
"I design both silver and gold plated jewellery. I first found these amazing antique pendants and then I make tassels from cotton thread to complete the jewellery piece. My trademarks are the handmade tassels in various colours and the packaging of the items in glass tubes. The idea of glass tubes came when I found my first ones at an antique market and it continued from then on."

"Once in a while I have limited editions using unique and single treasures from my travels. For example not so long ago I launched new bracelets and necklaces with gem beads. My effort is to create unique items with a specific style."
I couldn't agree more with Tres Jewellery when they say that there is nothing more delicate and sweet and bright than a few tassel bracelets around your wrists or necklaces blinking from you neck! What kind of jewelry do you like? How do you feel about tassels?
It's hard to believe that fall is approaching so quickly! I just love your inspiration here. It is so elegant and pretty!
