Tonight is the night for a song,’ thought Snufkin. ‘I’ll think up a new song that is one part anticipation, two parts pining for spring, and the rest a joyous declaration of how wonderful it is to be alone and at peace with yourself.

This week has been so inspiring and exciting! I've visited two new restaurants, gone on a business trip to Stockholm, Sweden and today I did something exciting concerning my future (that I'll fill you in on if I'll get some good news concerning it in June)! Again, what had made this week exciting has been the people! I've had the pleasure to get to know new inspiring people and the motivation kick they've given me is just amazing! So a big thank you shout out to all the wonderful people that I've met this week: you make life worth living! But nothing would be possible without the endless support I get at home! So thank you, you know who you are!

I promised you some pictures of my outfit of last week: the timeless combination of white jeans and a jeans shirt! I'm seriously in love with this combo!

It might not be office wear but this outfit is so comfortable! Have you tried it? I combined H&M's white jeans with a second hand jeans shirt.

My visit to Stockholm this week was very short: I flew in in the morning and returned home on an evening flight, but I did enjoy a couple of hours in the city even though the trip was work related. While in Stockholm, I always reserve some time to soak in the local style. Swedish people are so brave to try new trends, and I love visiting the Swedish capital! I had lunch at Pyttirian Kök & Bar, which was excellent! I loved my sallad with avocado, shrimps and crayfish!

Everyone who knows me well, knows that I'm mad about the Finnish Moomins. Just today one of my friends gave me a hint about a wonderful article that showcases the "50 lessons that Moomins can teach you about life". I thought it was so good that I wanted to share it with you readers as a Friday delight! One out of my many favorites was that a song can fix almost any problem. Which is your favorite lesson?

I also found a great playlist on Spotify, made by one of my favorite restaurants in Helsinki named Sushibar + Wine. I thought it was quite perfect for this Friday! Happy weekend dear readers! What are your plans?

What's your opinion?

  1. You have been super busy! I'm glad that you have met some great people and have exciting things in store. That outfit is great - I really love the denim top. It looks beautiful on you.

  2. I like the savvy combination of a denim shirt with white, looks so chic hun! It must have been so great to get out and travel to Stockholm! It sounds like a really interesting city from all Ive read. This was such a cute link and wonderful read. Loved it! On the food subject, I love Mediterranean, Italian and Indian cuisines because I am mostly vegetarian, its easy to create dishes with these influences.

    1. Yes, I'm really looking forward to it. We're renting an apartment with some of my best friends so it will be just wonderful, I'm sure! Thank you for the great links, I'll look into those!
I spent only two hours in Stockholm (since most of the day was spent working there), so I only had time to lunch and buy my boyfriend a shirt there :)
I've already found a light blue shirt :)
I've deleted the word verification part on my blog now, so it should be easier to comment!
