December the 3rd, 4 degrees. There is something in those two lines that doesn't suit Helsinki. Like I've mentioned before, we're having an unusually warm late fall or should I say early winter? Can there be winter without snow? I guess we have to define winter all over again, thanks to the climate change.
Even though there was some frost on the Helsinkian streets today when we popped out for some breakfast to the close by café Tin Tin Tango, it didn't feel like it was the fourth day of opening our Christmas calenders.

Anyway I highly recommend the delicious breakfast in this lovely Tin Tin inspirated café!
I've noticed at the office that several of our visitors are surprised over the "warm" weather. I think it could be okay for Helsinki, but the rest of Finland's tourism is suffering due to the lack of snow. I even had some Italian visitors yesterday asking me why one should go to Lapland in the first place if there isn't snow. I was amazed. I actually had to motivate them to go to Lapland, such a stunning place. It's silly how people rationalise sometimes, don't you think?
Indeed such a weird winter without cold and snow...what is it then?!
